Lost the Drive icon in SoftRAID (now blank).

Drive Mounting shows unmounted although the drive is on the desktop. Will not show mounting inside the app.

App requires logging in each time is started up, since Big Sur at least (known bug).

This is a confirmed Big Sur bug. You can live with it and wait for the next update to Big Sur, or paste the icon in yourself:

We have a ink to a DMG with the SoftRAID icons in it now:

Thanks. I will try the icon for now. I get the bug issue. Despite best efforts a number of bugs are still in the release version that weren't in the public beta for reasons I don't understand. Possibly due to a version for a full installation that wasn't available during the beta?

Good Morning,

Thanks for the help on two items both known bugs, apparently. You left off the second item, as shown in my screenshot, where the mounting info of the SoftRAID volumes remains incorrect and cannot update or control the mounting or dismounting of them even though they mount fine via the Finder. Any updates on that? That's been there since V6 and have reported it often.

@softraid-support,

You might want to have a look at the instructions page. For some users unfamiliar with the cut 'n paste for using the that technique, you might want to amplify/correct the instructions:

You need to open the selected icon in the file as a JPEG in Preview or other editor then select the icon and then copy the selected portion to the top of Info box by pasting it there. Simply copying the selected image will not get the intended results (at least in Big Sur 11.3). These added steps (proper procedure dating back a long way to earlier MacOSes) did work for me, though.

Thanks!

That will be taken care of when we add full APFS support. 6.1 is the target.

The icons is a Big Sur issue, as evidenced that when you update Big Sur to the next update, it fixes itself.

There are a couple new bugs not in the beta, yes, we are working on those.
