Are issues with SIP needing to set it to no protection) ever going to get fixed for Catalina 10.15.7?
As you have stated since Catalina was introduced, disabling the SIP permanently is required to load the SoftRAID drivers. With the imminent release of Big Sur and the demise of Catalina will we ever see the elimination of the SIP issue with SoftRAID, not to mention the full use of SoftRAID on Big Sur?

Disable SIP was only required from a bug in 10.15.0, Apple fixed that in later versions of Catalina.
Don't confuse them. Secure Boot is a extensions check at startup. SIP is always active, while Secure Boot only runs for 30 seconds at startup.
Secure Boot must remain disabled. (on T2 equipped Macs only)

Apple will change this requirement also, in a future version of macOS, but not Big Sur.
