After SIP is disabled, the driver was installed successfully.
However, once rebooted (no matter the SIP is disabled or enabled), it will ask for re-installing the driver again.
How to permanently install the driver? As what I am encountering now is that I have to stay at SIP disabled status.

I do not yet have an answer for these issues. Apple implemented this "feature" after final beta, so it is new to us also.
Most users are having success, so it is a matter of finding what is in common with those scenarios that fail.
We apologize for this shortfall and will try to figure this out quickly.

Here is a possible fix, it is untested, so we are looking for feedback:
1. Reboot into recovery mode.
2. In terminal, run: csrutil disable
3. In terminal, run: reboot
4. Run SoftRAID 5.8 and install driver
5. Restart
6. Run in terminal: sudo kextcache -i /
7. Restart.
8. Run SoftRAID. Does it ask to update the driver?
9. If no, then:
10. Reboot into recovery mode.
11. In terminal, run: csrutil enable
12. Run SoftRAID and see if it runs normally. (It should)

Mac Mini 2018
Unfortunately this didn't work for me as it is still asking to update the driver. I'm guessing this is T2 related as I had no problems with my older Mac Book Pro or 2012 Mac Mini.
I also tried completely uninstalling SoftRAID and starting again but it made no difference.

Step 6 run under Recovery mode or normal boot macOS?

Step 6 is normal mode, after running SoftRAID to install the driver.
The idea is to flush the extensions cache and force a rebuild.

Thank you. It works on my laptop!
I will do the same on the one which has the Thunderbay 6.
My main concern is the speed of the RAID 5 afterwards. It was ~400MB/s on Mojave ?

Unfortunately, it works on my MacBook Pro (2018, with T2) only, but not the MacMini (2018, with T2). So, I could only say that it might not be related to T2.
And, my ThunderBay 6 is actually used by the MacMini. So, I am still really looking forward to seeing other solutions.

Sorry to hear it does not work on both. Can you send a System Profiler from both laptops. Maybe that will help us figure this out. (and a SoftRAID tech support file from each)
Send them to support @ softraid and we can open a ticket that may help us investigate.

switching secure boot to "None" with SIP enabled solved all issue, too.
thank you and looking forward to the solution that brings us back the Secure Boot in the future.
