If you run SoftRAID and see the following:
Your volume is shown as "non RAID"
Your SoftRAID disks have an Apple icon, not SoftRAID icons

The problem is you need to enable "Full Disk Access".
When you installed SoftRAID and this dialog came up, you may not have granted SoftRAID Application "Full Disk Access". This means the application cannot get access to the disks to read their partition maps.

The fix is straightforward:
Open System Preferences
Click on Security
Click on the "Privacy" pane
Scroll down to "Full Disk Access"
Navigate to the SoftRAID Application
"Drop" the SoftRAID App into the right panel.
Make sure the box is checked to "enable" Full Disk Access.

This will resolve this issue.
