Thanks. Which part doesn't work, the convert DATA1 to a 3 disk RAID5 preserving files or the expand 3 disk RAID5 to 4 disk RAID5 or both?

Hi,
I have a 4 drive Thunderbay with 4 10TB drives. Two of the drives are configured as non-RAID volumes (call them DATA1 and DATA2) and the other two drives are new, certified and initialized.

Is is possible to convert DATA1 to 3 disk RAID5 with the two new initialized drives (preserving its data), then copy the files in DATA2 to the new RAID5, initialize DATA2 and then add the drive to the RAID5 group to create a 4 disk RAID5?

Thanks for you thoughts,
John
