I need to create encrypted 4-drive SSD RAID 0 drives for work - after doing some reading, I understand there are some impediments to this being implemented in Softraid.

I've been able to use Apple RAID + terminal + diskutil to convert my drives over to core storage and do a basic encryption that way. It works okay for now. But it lacks all of the great features of Softraid, obviously.

What's the timeline on Softraid finding a way to create encypted multi-drive RAID 0 volumes? Is it on the horizon or is it virtually impossible given the current state of MacOS?
