Sorry, let me add two steps:

Select the volume tile.
In volumes menu, disable Safeguard
Select the disks and in disks column, initialize the disks.
create a New volume, (Volumes menu), select the desied RAID type, etc. (this will be the faster of the two volumes)
in lower right corner, for the volume size, specify how large you want it.
then create the second volume with the balance.

Its so simple, I guess we do not have explicit instructions.
All you do is initialize the disks.
create a new volume, select RAID type, etc. (this will be the faster of the two volumes)
in lower right corner, for the volume size, specify how large you want it.
then create the second volume with the balance.

(Note to help avoid a potential MacOS issue, select 64k Stripe unit size when prompted, if your volume is 64K.
