Limitations of current v6 beta?

I bought an M1 Mac mini and wanted to do some A/B testing vs my 2018 i7 mini by swapping my Thunderbolt devices, including my Thunderbay 4M2. As could be expected, the drives are recognized in Disk Utility, but not the RAID, so I downloaded the latest v6 beta and installed it with no issues. However, even though the app says it's Universal, it will only run in Rosetta mode (it just says I'm not allowed to run it otherwise). SoftRAID sees my RAID properly, but the drives won't mount.

None of this is particularly unexpected - I know there are major technical hurdles to deal with. Just wanted to make sure this is expected behavior at this point.

We do not quite have a installable driver for the M1 at this time. It should be ready any day now. The next beta should have support for the M1, hopefully.

Where can I get that beta for my M1?

The beta will be here, but we do not have a version for M1 yet.

The final release of hardware is different than the prototype hardware, and there are a couple issues. We are working with Apple to get some help on this. I am hoping M1 support is in the b43 version of SoftRAID 6.

No rush for me - I decided to move my 4M2 to the same i3 Mac mini as my TB2 Thunderbay mini, so it actually simplifies moving work from from my M1 mini to my i7 if needed, as I'll just be moving a 1TB Envoy Express between them.

@softraid-support sorry to keep hounding about this topic, but will you guys be providing estimated timelines on the m1 update? I've read on a couple threads that it can be any day now for a few weeks, but it won't take the entire month of December. I bought the Thunderbay Flex 8 about a little over a week ago to pair with my m1 mini, but it's just but sitting on the table. Didn't even cross my mind to check software compatibility cause I've been using hardware raids recently. Not sure if I should return it at this point?

It is still day to day. I am sorry for this, but we are doing this as best we can. Its very frustrating on our end also, to be close, and not be able to get over the last steps.
