Generally there are no mid release such issues. But recently, macOS has introduced issues inside releases. So you have a point.

Example: Catalina 10.15.3 introduced a kernel panic bug, that was fixed in 10.15.4

The main reason we do not, is we do not believe users of an "older" OS should be using anything but the last release of that OS. If you are on 10.14, you should be running 10.14.6., not 10.14.3, for example.

11.0 is different here, but eventually it will settle down and users should be able to count on the last release to be the best release, and SoftRAID will support that release.

I am not sure how we should best describe the 11.0 issues, but once 11.3 is out, then we can have a consistent message again. (hopefully)

What would make it better is if it tracked what specific minor OS updates within a major version are compatible with SoftRAID. Apple from introduces bugs with mid-cycle updates that break SoftRAID. In those cases it's best not to update to a minor version, but rather to wait until either SoftRAID is updated or until Apple puts out a fix.

I can usually work out from the forums if other people are having troubles with a given macOS minor update, but I wouldn't be able to see it from that status page, since it only references major OS versions.

- The most recent release of macOS that is fully compatible with SoftRAID, and

- Current compatibility state (e.g. red, yellow, green) of the very most recent macOS release

I instead find my self browsing the SoftRAID support pages, and the support forums for any reported troubles before upgrading, which is a bit time consuming
