I understand. But expanding a volume by adding drives is not as simple as it looks, as it needs to support all types of hardware. Including unreliable hardware.

It is on our list of things, but it is not on active development for "next release", sorry.

Instead of reusing the 6 drives I already own. Just move the drives and add additional drives to size up. Everyone using softraid with large volumes have this issues. I don't get it how it can be a low priority. Its been a topic as long as I have used softraid. Hope that it really comes someday!
