I have two OWC enclosures: A Thunderbay 4 with 4 8TB HDDs in RAID 5, and an Express 4m2 with 4 4TB SSDs in RAID 4. I am running low on space in the Thunderbay 4 and want to install larger HDDs.

I'm trying to certify the new drives on a generic USB 3.2 drive dock and Softraid XT won't allow this.

Is there any way to certify these disks without taking my current RAID 5 volumes out of use for the duration of the certification (or without buying another OWC enclosure or Softraid Pro)?

If not, this seems like it would be a good feature to add. The certification will probably take several days and I can't afford to be without my RAID 5 volumes that long.

Thanks,
Jay
