I use SoftRAID on a Mac mini with a Thunderbay 4 attached via thunderbolt. I upgraded to 6.0.3 today from 5.8.4 and SoftRAID seems to be running in "trial mode" instead of licensed mode. I've attached a support report.

Can you help me fix this?

(BTW, I know there is a disk error and I have a replacement disk on its way to me.)

Adding to the problems, the mac mini is now periodically shutting itself down. This was not happening prior to the upgrade to 6.0.3, so I presume it is related as well.

Did you upgrade your licese to 6.0 and enter it?

The shutdown is not related. Can you save a panic log and attach it (as a .txt file)

Ah, doh! I hadn't applied an upgrade license. I've done that now and it's happier, thanks!

The unexpected shutdown looks like it's probably a latent hardware fault:

user@server:~$ log show --predicate 'eventMessage contains "Previous shutdown cause"' --last 24h
Filtering the log data using "composedMessage CONTAINS "Previous shutdown cause""
Skipping info and debug messages, pass --info and/or --debug to include.

The shutdown code -128 seems to generally be related to memory faults and other hardware errors. I'll monitor and consider an upgrade.
