This happened after a disk eject event, it appears. Generally one such event is not enough for a volume directory to become damaged enough not to mount. (I am assuming the volume stopped mounting on April 21).

One idea, which should not work, but sometimes does, is connect the volume to a difference startup volume, or computer. Don't know why this might work, but it sometimes does.

There are no repair tools for APFS directories, only recovery apps, like Disk Drill (cleverfiles.com) or R-Studio.

Both have free trial options, where you can scan for recovery before committing to recovery.

If you are not backed up, one of these two recovery apps is your best option.

Hi there, new to the forum. I have been running a Thunderbay Flex 8 off of a 2019 Macbook Pro with 7.6.1 with the 7.5 driver shown. I just tried to connect my new Mac M2 Studio Max running latest Sonoma (14.4) with 7.6.1 with the 8.0 driver shown. I see the Raid 0 NVME volume in the Thunderbay and all of the other volumes connected to the Studio, but not the two additional volumes on the Thunderbay. If I reconnect to the 2019 Macbook, they pop right back up. Is there something simple I am missing?

Thanks!
