I have a bunch of USB / eSATA multi bay enclosures. At the moment I'm using USB but don't get SMART status and overall not great reliability.

Thinking about getting a thunderbolt to eSATA adapter, is it known if the SAMRT data is sent over eSATA & thunderbolt adapter to SoftRAID?

Thanks
