Give your disks SoftRAID disk labels. Select them all, add a disk label, and SoftRAID will auto make them all unique.

In the SoftRAID disk tiles, the disk serial is displayed (unless you have a USB enclosure, where the disk serial numbers are not displayed.)

However, if you open the door, then push in one at a time, see if the two disks are identifiable that way.

If this is USB, then you cannot see SMART data, but if Thunderbolt, both the drive serial should show and the predicted failure measure.

IO errors are not necessarily failures.

You can attach a SoftRAID tech support file if you want me to look at it.

I know there's an "Identify" menu option but it just makes a light blink....and there's no lights on these drives.

Without yanking the disks out one-by-one, rebooting and waiting to see if there's any warning popups, is there a way to determine which drives are reporting errors?
