This was a fix put in when a Disk Utility bug began damaging SoftRAID partition maps. We enabled SoftRAID to attempt to self repair these instances of damaged partition maps. Any unsuccessful scenarios, end users can contact us.

Yes, that did work. Thanks for the suggestion.

The program is flawed however, in ignoring the failure of the repair procedure. While the error is logged and can be seen if you open the console log, the visible windows lists the repair as taking place and finishing successfully. Afterwards the disk status shows " no errors".]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I have a SoftRaid Lite mirror. Everytime I open the program, I get a warning the partition map needs repair. I select repair, and the program goes through the motions of repairing the partition. The display says no errors, but the console log says it could not repair the partition because the disk was in use (error 12). I attach the screenshot of the program and the console log.

If i close SoftRaid Lite and reopen it, I get back to the warning about repairing the partition map.

I am using SoftRaid 5.1.1, which is the current version as far as I can tell.]]></content:encoded>
