<p>But why Finder doesn't report any problem but Softraid does? The "problem" is that Softraid keeps all available disks in its list. OK for the creation of a RAID volume but wouldn't it be possible to have 2 lists of disks? One for RAID drives and their component and one for all others?</p>

<p>No the CalDigit HD is an additional backup drive I'm using with Carbon Copy Cloner. I found - I think - the problem: the drive is TB3 and powered by TB3, without any power on/off button. Thus, even if the volume is ejected, the drive is still "connected" and taken into account by Softraid. I guess I have to wait for the computer to be offline before removing it.</p>

I also have and external Caldigit HD Drive connected to my MBP, When I need to remove it, after being dismounted (in Softraid app), Softraid says there is a problem and ask me to quit and relaunch Softraid... Is this normal?</p>
