Hi folks,
A relatively simple question for you I hope. I am currently running SoftRAID 5 under Catalina. Now that SoftRAID 6 has been released, I want to upgrade. I have been holding off on upgrading to Big Sur until SoftRAID 6 was released.
Should I upgrade to Big Sur and then install SoftRAID 6? Or alternatively, install SoftRAID6 and then upgrade to Big Sur?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

It does not matter, really, as Big Sur will install the bundled 6.0 driver.
I would unmount/disconnect all external drives, perform the upgrade. then connect my externals and upgrade the SoftRAID driver.
