<p>*MacOS can't repair the disk *Thunderbay* You can still open or copy files on the disk, but you can’t save changes to files on the disk. Back up the disk and reformat it as soon as you can.*</p>

<p>When you updated the driver, did you (again) click "Allow" OWC as an identified developer?</p>
<p>If you did, you may be running into a Big Sur problem, where it does not auto load the driver at startup, and you need to manually load the drier. this is a bug that Apple has told us will be fixed in a future macOS version, perhaps Monterey, perhaps sooner.</p>
<p>Paste this into terminal, and your volume should mount:</p>
<p>sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext</p>
<p><br />Note:<br />The "up" key in terminal will show prior commands, so next time you want to manually load SoftRAID, just hit the up arrow and this command will be available without having to type it.</p>]]></content:encoded>
