This was not an easy process, needing to remove both striped hard drives from the Thunderbay and then deleting each and the volume and then creating a new volume. <p>There is damage to the volume header, and it looks serious. The directory is also damaged, as if some rogue memory overwrite the volume header (and presumably part of the directory)</p>
<p>Do you have access to Disk Warrior? I am not sure it can recover the directory in this case, though. But if you have it, then run DIsk Warrior on the volume and lets hope it can rebuild the directory.</p>

<p>However, in the log, I see you tried to delete the volume. Is it backed up, so you do not have to worry about it? If so, you can "erase" the volume with SoftRAID.</p>]]></content:encoded>
