I am using the OWC Thunderbay 4 Thunderbolt 2 version with 4 Disks with SoftRaid on my iMac.

Now I upgraded to Big Sur, without checking first if SoftRaid works with it, and saw that SofRaid seems not to be compatible with Big Sur.

My normal thinking would be that I would lose my access to the Thunderbay, but I still can use it without any, for me, vissible issues, also speed wise it looks like it is the same.

So my question:
What advantages does the SoftRaid software bring if it will work again?
