Did you run lsof on the volume? Curious if anything shows up.

Very similar issue here. I receive the same dialog when my machine has been is sleep.

Still not much we can do about this, we have reported it to Apple, however.

@softraid-support I have no problem unmounting other volumes not using SoftRAID though?

@mcvosi That is why this is an awful bug. It should totally be fixable in macOS.

Yes, I am sure we invested the 3-4 hours it took to report it. I replicated it so engineering could write the report.

I have not tried it yet.
We are pretty sure it is not in Ventura, where the fix was supposed to be included.

@softraid-support Still crashes on 12.5; I currently do not have SoftRAID installed on my new MBA, and I'm not sure I will due to instability.
