<p> When the drive was not mounted and showed two disks missing, I was able to make the remaining two disks blink, and upon a complete restart, the array of four drives is mounted and functional with no error messages.</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Uh oh, I spoke too soon.</strong> Just now, even though I am not even using the hub in the thunderbolt chain, the thunder bay connected with thunderbolt 3 cables was suddenly ejected and disappeared. this time the computer did not even go to sleep since I was on it actually working. That's frustrating if the actual Thunderbay enclosure is faulty, because I bought it two years ago.<br /><br />It disappeared off the desktop and off Softraid. But then less than a minute later it reappeared on soft raid (but not the desktop). In soft raid it shows as degraded with two missing disks. However I know those are verified and fully functioning disks. I think something is wrong with the Thunderbay 4 enclosure. Not sure what I can do about that. </p>]]></content:encoded>

<p>MacOS may not be reporting any disconnects. I know if I connect a 4 drive Apple RAID 0, A) it constantly wakes/sleeps when the mac is sleeping and if I keep files open, I am apt to get disconnection notices. But not as often. SoftRAID actively warns you of any issues, it is a more aggressive than anything else.  We want users to know of any possible issue.</p>]]></content:encoded>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>@softraid-support Yes... <span>I have a Thunderbay 4 using thunderbolt 3 ports as well as a couple two older Thunderbay enclosures using thunderbolt 2 connections (attached to my MacBook Pro running OS 12.6.1)</span><br /><br />The one with the thunderbolt 3 ports is vanished upon coming back from sleep. Vanished from both the desktop and the softraid interface. The other two thunderbolt 2 ports connected thunderbays are mounted, and appear, even if they have messages saying they were ejected improperly, they are there when the computer wakes up.<br /><br />Only a full restart brings back the thunder bay connected by thunderbolt 3</p>]]></content:encoded>
