I've OWC Mercury Elite Pro Quad connected with thunderbolt 3. On softraid 6.2 I've the following issue. When I turn on my MacBook Pro 2019 with the enclosure on my Mac hang on boot screen and not go on. I've to close my enclosure so the Mac boot. After login the disk not mount and I see waiting for disk into softraid monitor. If I boot the Mac with the enclosure off and after the boot I open the enclosure all work like a charm.

Thank you for your help.

This is a known issue with M1. Another thing you can do, besides what you are doing is try a clean install (without Migration Assistant, which will bring in the same bad file causing this)

We are working with Apple on this to get a fix, either in SoftRAID or in Monterey.

@ophidio

Please attach a panic report when the system restarts after a panic.

(click report to Apple, more details, then copy/paste to text edit and save as txt.)

But I not get ani panic simple the Mac not boot. Hang on the apple symbol with the under bar blocked. If I turn off the enclosure the Mac complete the boot. If I once logged in turn on the enclosure the disk not out and show mounting. I'll try to make a video of this.

@ophidio

I do not need a video, thanks.

Can you send me a SoftRAID tech support file, with the disks connected immediately after startup?

What I want is this:

Startup with disks connected.

unplug the cable, let it finish startup

Plug in drives

Save a SoftRAID tech support file.
