<p>SoftRAID 7.0.1's driver now allows encryption on APFS volumes. Until we add user interface support, you need to erase the volume in Disk Utility, as APFS encrypted, but it will work from there.</p>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Not really doing anything too crazy -- doing a SuperDuper! copy from my internal SSD to an encrypted APFS volume on a 3-disk RAID0. The stacks are very similar. SoftRAID is on the stack. I can probably provide a kernel dump at some point if the engineers want to see it.</p>
<p>I've been having some trouble w/ SoftRAID and Monterey (see my other thread on booting from a SoftRAID disk and having it trashed). This time around I've installed Monterey on my internal SSD. Things have been going pretty smooth up until now, with a variety of different workloads.</p>
<p>RAM was recently tested thoroughly with memtest86 as a result of the other problems. No issues found.</p>
<p>I've only got a couple days left on my SoftRAID 6.x trial, so I may not be able to do much more custom testing. My 5.x license is still on my non-Monterey installation and that is still the fallback plan as it is rock stable.</p>
