Since you have two disks wiht the same number of errors, that makes it less likely it is the disks. In the SoftRAID log, see how far apart in time the errors are. 

To identify drives, use "Blink disk light" in SoftRAID.
And see if they are "next to each other", which is a sign of a hardware issue.]]></content:encoded>

I have a Mediasonic Probox with USB-C. It has four slots with 4 Toshiba N300 disks. I tried to certify them a couple weeks ago, where they all failed before finishing two passes. I have since then replaced the USB-C cable (from 1 to .5 meter long) and ran the certification again. This time two of the disks have made it through the second pass, while two failed at to different stages in the process. 

I have attached a screenshot to this post as I need your advice: I have difficulty in telling which is which of the drives in the ProBox. Is there a way to know this? The reference-number is the same on each of the disks.
