                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am in the process of removing the disks I used to test SoftRAID and wanted to prep them for use in another Mac, I followed these steps:</p>
<p>1) Unmounted the SoftRAID volume</p>
<p>2) Deleted the SoftRAID volume via the GUI</p>
<p>3) Run Disk Utility, select the old SoftRAID disk and clicked Erase</p>
<p>Disk Utility gets to the "Creating the partition map" but never completes.</p>
<p>Is this a known issue? Is there a better way I should be doing this?</p>]]></content:encoded>
