Just realized the drive currently in the cloning process is a WD My Passport Wireless, which has networking capability (that I never use as connecting to iPhone and iPad just is too cumbersome), so of course there might be network drive related hidden files. And I guess I've just previously cloned those files to the 3,5" backup hard drives with the default CCC setting of cloning everything.

I tried googling what are those .apdisk files but only found information they might be related to network drives, and now that I've find non of my non-SoftRAID volumes has them but SoftRAID volumes have I'm assuming they are related to using SoftRAID.
