@splinky

I am checking if this is available in Windows. I think it is not.

Confirmed that this is not available in the Windows version yet.

Thanks. Looks like I’m going to have to backup, erase and resize, then restore from backup.

@splinky

Sorry. We want this back, but I don't have a schedule.

Hello, I seem to have hit this resizing bug...

Currently running Monterey 12.6, SoftRAID 7.0.1, Thunderbay 8.

Does the bug exist in Ventura too? it would be a lot easier to upgrade (though I'd rather wait) than downgrade (or build a boot disk)...

Thank you.

@notio

Its a SoftRAID bug when we changed the MacOS tools to better support APFS.

the fix will go into 7.1.

Or if you have a Big Sur to temporarily connect to, you can run 6.0.5 to resize.

Let me know if you want a beta tester for 7.1. At the moment I have this data on eight different drives, so I'm in a good backup position. :)

Old 8TB mirror (2) + 2 physical backup disks

New 14TB mirror (2) + 2 physical backup disks

@notio

This is an easy problem, so we won't need specific testers, but you are welcome to try when we get this going. Expect 60 days, perhaps less.
