A SoftRAID user discovered this bug. It results in VM's getting corrupted at shutdown. Its possible this was fixed, but it was a complex bug to reproduce and we don't have the ability to reproduce it. Parallels does not apparently publish specific bug fixes. So we are leaving this note in until we know it is fixed.

After doing a bit of research and testing, it looks like the issue was that Parallels wasn’t committing the buffered disk writes to disk at reboot, if you choose an Unplanned Restart within the Windows VM. As a result, this was causing lingering corruption (and bloating RAM).]]></content:encoded>
