SoftRaid XT support for Akitio Thunder3 Quad Mini

SoftRAID has been tested and works perfectly with Akitio enclosures!

This includes all versions of SoftRAID (SoftRAID, SoftRAID Lite, SoftRAID XT, and SoftRAID XT Lite.)

As of this writing (January 21, 2019) SoftRAID XT or XT Lite is not yet bundled with Akitio enclosures.

If you already have SoftRAID XT or XT Lite, your Akitio enclosure is now supported with SoftRAID 5.7.3.

We are still working out the details for SoftRAID XT and XT Lite to be bundled with Akitio enclosures. We will announce this when we have finalized the details.

Yes, I’m using it with the trial version of SoftRaid XT Lite, and I can confirm that it works fine, but the trial will expire in about 25 days.

Does it mean that I can receive a serial for XT lite as well? Or the bundle will be available only for freshly bought enclosure? I bought mine in November.

I will make a post when I find out. I do not know anything at the current time about this.

Any news? In the meantime I asked also to Akitio. At the moment there is no free option for existing customers. In addition to that, they said that the only way to buy an XT serial is apparently through macsales, but they only offer physical DVD delivery (i.e. no serial sent by email), which is extremely expensive for an international customer like me (please do not propose standard postal service: this is not a viable option :-) ). At the end of the day the XT Lite version would cost me as much as the standard Lite version (which is instead available by email through your website). Is there any option to buy the XT version in Europe, without paying expensive delivery?

You can try XT Lite in trial mode, there is 100% functionality for 30 days.
