The volume has mounted and I have begun validation.

I actually meant the general pane, and there should have been a pop up dialog box directing you there. Otherwise, macOS will block the driver from loading.

In System Preferences/Security the first tab (general) should be the open tab, and "Allow" would normally be there.

I recommend users wait until the macOS dialog box pops up, as if you install the driver and restart immediately, you may miss this option, then you have a limited time to do that. In Monterey, I am pretty sure the pop up will repeat at restart, reminding users to Allow the installed driver to be loadable.

Is your volume mounted currently?

Ok. I have uninstalled the driver and re-booted. I got an error message about the drive stating that the "Disk you attached was not readable...." I selected ignore.

Next, I launched SoftRAID and got a message Install Drive. I selected Install. I received a message that driver was successfully installed. So I am assuming at this point I am not to install the driver again from the utilities menu.

Then you requested the I " "Allow" OWC at System Preferences/Security". With this I am assuming that I need to go Privacy. Is this correct? If yes, there is no selection to Allow OWC. Did you mean Select "Full Disk Access" and select SoftRAID 6.2. I made this selection.

I then re-booted and launched SoftRAID. Got two messages: 1) Array was missing disks and 2) Driver successfully installed.

Currently, validating the Volume and will take about 6 hours.

Please let me know if the above is correct because I have made several assumptions about items that were not in your directions.
