I have a new Flex8 with 4 Exes X18 18 TB drives, connected to a m1 Mini macOS 12.2 (Upgraded after the first try to create a raid failed).
All disks passed the 110 hours certification and now I want to create a raid 4 or 5 array (went for RAID4 after reading here about the issues with RAID5).
Softraid beta installation of initially 6.21b8 was no problem, neither was b9 which asked for a helper tool to be installed.
All disks can be initialized no problem, but RAID creation fails consistently.
The driver shows to be 6.21b9, still I did enable third party kexs, but that didn't help solve the issue.
So how does one create raid volumes?

Alright managed to fix it myself.
Had to enable OWC as a accepted third party developer, which I thought I would be asked about.
Now that I did that the raid was created, so far so good.
You should really point that out when the software starts.
I saw driver 6.21.b9 and thought ok great they managed to get everything fixed.
Also somewhere was written no driver installation issues on Monterey.
Well anyway, all good for now.

Apologize for the inconvenience. We do need to add some detection method. Apparently there is no simple terminal command to pull up third party security. Its on our list of to do.
