<p>I upgraded to Sonoma on my M1 Mac Mini (running SoftRAID 7 XT), and am now getting the license expired warnings. I'm super confused about the upgrade options, because it seems that when I enter my XT license key into the upgrade page, the only option is to upgrade to SoftRAID Pro for $179. When I looked at the store for the current pricing for SoftRAID XT, I see that the pricing for new users is $119.99 (which would imply to me that upgraded licenses for existing XT license users would be less than that), but I also noticed that it only says that it "Now supports MacOS Ventura", and not "Now supports MacOS <em>Sonoma</em>", like the store pages for SR Pro and SR Lite do.</p>
<p>While I totally understand and agree with the need for developers to offer paid upgrades to products, having to pay $179.99 to upgrade an XT license to a Pro license with no other option seems a bit punitive to me, because the main reason why I purchased the cheaper XT license in the first place is because I didnt need all of the features of a Pro license to begin with!</p>
<p>I hope I'm mistaken that XT is a "dead" product, and that there will be a Sonoma-ready version of XT that XT users can upgrade to for a more reasonable upgrade price? </p>

<p>If a Softraid user who has a license for Softraid 7 lets their upgrade+support subscription lapses, and then wants to install a new version of Softraid in the future, would they be charged the "new license" price?</p>

<p>It shows 7.6 was released on <span>Sep 26, 2023 so I should be able to to use it, no? I assume my Support Plan would have ended on 11/7/2023. </span></p>

<p>I was previously using Softraid XT version 6, and have my licenses upgraded from version 5 to 6 so that I could continue to us the lite version. </p>
<p>I have now installed SoftRAID v7.6 for compatibility with OSX Sonoma. The software has reverted back to a 14 day trial. </p>
<p>I go to the OWC license management page and it states the license is for 6XT and is 'OK and ready for use'. </p>
<p>However, it gives me two upgrade options for pro and for XT - both of which I have to pay for?</p>
<p>Why is this so?? I have several expansive drives that I now have to pay more for to us the features??</p>

<p>If not, will there be a free path to v7.6 for <span style="text-decoration: underline">just the driver</span> so I can use the OWC Raid hardware, I don't need the Application. For example, can I download v7.6 as a trial and just use the driver so I can mount the OWC RAID?</p>

I confirmed my new expiration date of 7/24/2024 on the software.owc.com site but my application still shows today as the expiration date.  This is despite launching/quitting the app and restarting the MacBook Pro.</p>
