<p>At this time, no. The SoftRAID driver loads after Windows is booted, so a SoftRAID volume cannot be a startup volume. We do not have any planned releases at this time to get around this limitation.<span style="color: #242424;font-size: 14px;font-style: normal;font-weight: 400;letter-spacing: normal;text-align: start;text-indent: 0px;text-transform: none;background-color: #ffffff;float: none"></span></p>

<p>We're leasing dedicated servers on OVH for hosting. They offer only soft-raid (no hardware raid) and our problem is that Windows do not natively support soft-raid.<br />Can SoftRAID create raid volumes prior to Windows installation? Or can it only create raid volumes after windows are installed?</p>
<p>Asking so that our entire Windows installation is on a raid volume.</p>
