Running DW5 doesn't cure the problem.

DU says to restart and use DU on the Recovery partition to fix it - not sure why since it's not in use as a start-up disk (although it does contain a system).

Will have to try that next.

SoftRAID sees and uses it no problem and with no complaints.]]></content:encoded>

Running Sierra, drives are in an external box connected by SAS.

All drives passed DU except one.

-69846: Unrecognized file system

DU didn't repair it.
