                        <description><![CDATA[Thanks for the reply.  The problem was I hadn&#039;t made a new volume on the disc after initializing it (Doh!)  It&#039;s working now.

What if you use "repair disk" with Disk Utility on it, is there a problem noted?

Is this a current bootable volume? 

If there is no data on it, delete it, recreate it and try again.]]></content:encoded>
