I was wondering create a SOFTRAID RAID VOLUME not a BUILT IN APPLE RAID ... can you confirm that the same apply to SOFTRAID RAID VOLUME ?

In fact ... I was able to startup my Mac mini from a current SOFTRAID RAID VOLUME that has been CLONED from my MAIN STARTUP VOLUME (APFS Volume ) ...

So now I would like the steps to Turn this APFS VOLUME (in fact the instalation created 2 volumes One for Boot and One labeled with Data) into a SOFTRAID RAID 1 VOLUME from INSIDE SOFTRAID Software

Best Regards

By Catalina, there was no way possible. I know for certain Apple RAID cannot be a startup disk for Big Sur, and I believe, but am not certain, Apple RAID can no longer be a startup volume for Catalina either.

It appears Apple does not think the Mac is worthy of having a RAID startup volume. And this policy is not going to change, as far as I can tell.
