I'm using a pair of Thunderbays in a RAID 1+0, and I've been having issues with one of the enclosures (previously discussed here: https://srforums.wpengine.com/forum/archive/index.php?thread-950.html)

I've arranged an RMA exchange with OWC for the faulty enclosure, but that will take a few days turnaround.

Question: Can I continue to use my RAID 1+0 with just the remaining enclosure? If I make sure all the primary disks are installed, it would basically be a RAID 0, no? Then when I get the new enclosure, I can reinstall the secondary disks and have SoftRAID do a rebuild.

Is that even advisable? I just looking for a way to keep working while I wait for the replacement.

Thanks.
