Also, if the volume is "core storage", you cannot convert that. There is a thread here on the forum that gives clear instructions how to convert a core storage volume to GPT format, so you can then convert it to SoftRAID.]]></content:encoded>

I downloaded it for evaluation, but when I select the disk that I want to use to create a mirror, the only option available in the Volume menu is "New ..." "Convert" is greyed out. Is this option only available once I've purchased or is there another problem? Thanks!]]></content:encoded>
