The message: macOS cannot repair the disk 'Thunderbay'
Means the volume directory is somewhat damaged and the volume is mounted read only. )MacOS auto repairs all directories at startup (if the "dirty bit" flag is set), and if the auto repair fails, macOS may mount the volume read only.

Disk Warrior is the best tool to repair damaged directories.

after 1 month after the purchase I already got a disk error. I received a new one and reconnected it. now three months later I get another message that the disk is out of sync. In the meantime I am getting a message when starting OSX: macOS cannot repair the disk 'Thunderbay'. you can still open or copy files on the disc, but you cannot save changes to files on the disc. that's a nightmare.

MacOS 10.15.4 softraid v 5.8.3 Driver 5.8.3
softraid report says No disks failed the SMART test.

-> degraded needs rebuilding, but the rebuilding does not work. Nothing happens.

Any Help. Im a professional documaker and need to offload new footage to the thunderbay otherwise I cant continue the next days.
