I have a RAID 4 array of 3 WD external 5TB USB 3.0 drives.  I had to move the three disks to a new hub and now it won't mount.  I have validated the disks without error.

New Hub on the same machine?

APFS is more difficult to diagnose, but I don't see any information in the volume header.

Did the old Hub fail or something?

Same machine, different (new) hub.  Old one failed.

Is it possible to connect directly? Does the volume not mount?

Its possibly the failure of the hub damaged the volume.

Try Disk Drill. It has a free trial and may be able to recover the data.
