Yesterday i was getting an error with BAY A of 4 bays, so i swapped out the drive for a new one and it was stuck on rebuilding, waiting to mount for several hours.
Nothing happened.
After being impatient i chose to remove missing drive and start the process all over
swapped it with another new hd and still the same thing.
I tried disk warrior and it is not seeing any of the drives
after being frustrated i added the original drive back and getting the below image
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Lost access to 15TB of client video files
Maybe fortunately, the problem is just the SoftRAID driver is not loading.
Remove the disk you removed, it cannot be added back.
Try loading the driver manually, do you get an error? Paste this into terminal.app:
sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext
I swapped back to a brand new HD and i am back to where i was at yesterday. stuck on "rebuilding, waiting to mount"
i tried to manually mount, but it goes through the progressions and the back to unmounted
I have to repeat because I am not sure you got this:
(I will tweak the words)

do you get an error? Or does your volume mount?
i tried that previously and it did nothing
i also uninstalled and re-installed the driver
still keep getting rebuilding, waiting to mount
now diskwarrior is able to see and try to rebuild the drive, but 10 mins in, disk warrior freezes
Attach a new SoftRAID tech support file. its important that the driver is loading, I need to check.
i was able to get disk warrior to work. i had to disable screen saver & lock computer. let it run for about 12 hours and it was able to rebuild the directory so it could mount.
Softraid still saw errors when swapping the HD. The rebuilt raid was seen by my computer so i just offloaded the 15tb of files onto an external. Upgraded/swapped for all new hard drives, setup up a new raid 5 and now moving everything back.
Note: Sometimes there are disk errors running Disk Warrior ,as when the directory pointers are damaged, the disks may be asked to retrieve data from a non existent location, so they error. SoftRAID logs those errors also. but they are not actually the disk failing. Just clear the io error counters in that event.
