Absolutely. SoftRAID has a "one at a time" license. We also allow you to connect your drives to most ANY Mac and have the volume mount for convenience.

Here is how this all works:
If you connect your disks to a Mac that has never run SoftRAID, the volumes will still mount, because we license a "default" SoftRAID driver to Apple for inclusion in macOS, to ensure compatibility. This driver does not give any alerts, cannot rebuild, and is slower, but will mount the volume.

this is for "one time" use, or occasional usage.

If you want to connect your disks to another mac cyclicly, then install SoftRAID on both computers. When you are done using the disks on computer A, unmount your volume, wait a few seconds, then disconnect it. Logout/log in to Computer A, or restart it. This releases the SoftRAID driver from this system.

Now connect to Computer B. When done, repeat, unmount, disconnect, restart or logout/login. Connect back to Computer A.
