<p>this is a permissions issue, not a volumes issue. Did you set your volume as "ignore permissions on this volume"?</p>
<p>Or you may need to "get info" on each of the offending folders and see if you can add yourself as having read/write access.</p>

                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Im having an odd folder access / disc permission issue - Ive been successfully using the same OLD system with close to zero issues for many years ( g4 tower running 10.4.11 &amp; softraid 3.68) - yes I know THATS old - for what im doing its been working fine till now)   I run in "mirror mode" for a simple redundant 2 drive system for " working file storage"  </p>
<p>my problem: suddenly there are some folders I am not allowed access to and or I can not add to over the network so I " do not have privileges "</p>
<p>My question is how can I run a disc utility on the mirror raid ( I get a can not unmount message ) , or is that not a thing for the raid and I should I NOT be relying</p>
<p> doing that ?  </p>
