Its up to Apple to permanently fix this, it should be fixed in Monterey.

We put a workaround into 6.1, which is getting close to final beta, which force-manually loads the driver every restart. That should get around 90% of this issue.

sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext

 

And that seems to have worked...but from what I read, that will need to be done every time the computer is restarted.  Is there a permanent fix for this?

 

By the way, we are on Mac 11.6 - Big Sur
