This was working with 14.0? and with 14.1, the panics started?

You did the upgrade with your enclosure connected correct? (I am checking as it is possible this is a file system triggered panic)

I may want more detailed info from Apple.
Can you do a second system, clean install? It does not affect your current startup volume.

But lets you see if the problem is wirth the drives in the enclosure, or the MacOS system.

Run Disk Utility. Select your internal disk.

CLick + volume and create a new volume.

restart into recovery mode.

Select "options", then select "Reinstall MacOS".
Point it to the NEW volume and install.

Use the same Admin name. Do NOT migrate data. Leave it as a clean install.

Connect your drives when it is finished.

Do you get a kernel panic?

I have a M1 Mac Studio with 3 Thunder Bays daisy-chained. After the last Apple upgrade to Sonoma 14.1, the Thunderbay's mount upon restart ... then commence to un-mount followed by the Mac crashing. When I disconnect the Thunderbays, Mac works fine. I have run Apple diagnostics on the Mac with no issues noted. I also just upgraded the SoftRAID software to v7.6. I have attached a SoftRAID tech support file. ANY HELP or IDEAS will be greatly appreciated!
