Please let us know. there should be no difference to spotlight whether a volume is a SoftRAID volume, or Disk Utility volume, or Apple RAID volume.

APFS four disk formatted as RAID 5...

I tried to do all the Apple stuff. I think I will delete my Spotlight Preferences and try again. Let you know :)

Spotlight Search is not looking in my Softraid RAID. I can index it when I add it to the excluded targets and remove it again (Apple recommended solution), but it vanishes after a while. I cannot find files I know exist on the Softraid Volume.

 

Any ideas?
