That is a Windows controlled function. Go to your energy management and change it from the default, and you should be good.

One more question: the drives seem to sleep VERY fast on windows (after maybe 30 seconds idle), is there somewhere to change that, or is that in windows? Can you connect the drives to the mac for a bit and either zero the disks, or create the volume (I assume RAID 0) for Windows then connect it up?


other wise you need to use some command line stuff to refresh the disks.
