Thanks I'll try your suggestion.
Regarding UAD, I use their plug ins in Pro Tools. Here's their explanation.
UAD Meter & Control Panel:
The UAD Meter & Control Panel application is used to monitor UAD device resources, confirm the UAD system is operating properly, and configure the global UAD Powered Plug-Ins system parameters. It is also used to register or authorize the UAD/Apollo system.
The UAD Meter window displays the current DSP, PGM, and MEM status of the UAD hardware in realtime.
I pasted the 3 sudo line in Terminal one at a time.
I restarted and SoftRaid did not load, so I uninstalled SR and reinstalled it, but the Allow did not pop up in Security. Even after I reinstalled the SR driver.
Lets try removing the printer driver (you can install it later)
sudo rm -r /Library/Extensions/EPSONUSBPrintClass.kext
sudo kmutil clear-staging
sudo kextcache -i /
then reinstall the SoftRAID driver.
Let me know. YOu can also navigate afterwards to System Preferences/Security and see if you are able to "Allow" OWC.
I tried removing the printer driver using the (3) sudo's and reinstalling the SoftRaid driver, but I wasn't able to "Allow" OWC.
Also, I tried to run
kextload -v /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext
to get the drive to appear on the desktop, but it didn't work.
Here's the Terminal info after I tried doing so.

@dlp try as sudo:
sudo kextload -v /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext
I'll try that tomorrow morning. Thanks
Hi, so sudo kextload -v /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext brings up the drive. Is there a more permanent fix?
Thanks!
Ok thanks. I may have mentioned this in an earlier post, but after installing 6.0.5, all app's requiring a driver have been affected. I have to use a sudo command in Terminal to launch all these other app's.
I hope there's a fix for this soon.
Same here. We have reported this to Apple. Its a long weekend, so it may not be for a while, but we are also investigating.
Also, as a test, if you go back to 6.0.4, do your other extensions work?
I'll try that. Where would I download 6.0.4? Thanks
Never mind, I found 6.0.3 in my download folder.
